The Ethan John Morgan Tacheny Fund was established to continue building a legacy of love and inspiration, in the name of a beautiful little boy who lived and loved with the heart of a lion and inspired everyone he met. The fund was also established in honor of the nurses who cared for Ethan and his family throughout his cancer journey.

The work of the EJMTF is to ease the financial burden of those who feel called to love and inspire others through a career in nursing, with a particular emphasis on assisting those who feel called to serve in the areas of pediatrics and oncology.

The formation of the EJMTF was made possible, in part, by a generous bequest from the estate of Tanya Wolf Ragir, a close friend of Ethan’s family, who gracefully faced her own journey with terminal brain cancer. The EJMTF is also proud, and thankful, to work in partnership with The Department of Nursing at Glendale College (Ethan’s father’s alma mater), in Glendale, California and the Glendale College Foundation.
